I can’t get some of the music to play.
We use a variety of embeds from various sites to make Scripture in Song work. Many people have trouble with Spotify. You will need to install it on your computer and open it for Spotify songs to play.

You guys should include _____ (fill in the blank) on your site.
We’re sure there’s lots more scripture memory songs out there we’re not aware of. We encourage you to submit them. We want Scripture in Song to include as many excellent songs as possible.  We’re looking for songs which are either word for word or are really close to being word for word.

I’m looking for a song on a particular passage or theme, but it doesn’t have to be word for word.
Our website currently only includes songs intended for memorizing scripture itself. We may add other features in the future.  Check out the Hymnary and the indices of your songbooks or hymnals.  So many Christian hymns and songs of the present and throughout church history are based on scripture.  There are literally millions of them!  This would be a second phase of this website. 🙂

I want to include my song on the site. What are my options?
Put it up on Bandcamp, Soundcloud, or YouTube, and then enter it on the submit form.   For most of us, this is sufficient.  If you want your songs on iTunes and Spotify, sign up for a distributor like Catapult DistributionTuneCore, or CD Baby.  We also accept MP3s, but we will need to verify that you own the rights to the song.  We include MP3s under the Creative Commons BY-NC-ND 3.0 License.

The submission form allows one song, but I have a lot.  Can I email them to you?
If you want to submit a large number of songs, download this spreadsheet and instructions and email it back to us.

I put a song on your site and now I want to edit or delete it.
If you would like to make a change, please contact us.

How can I help?
You can help by writing scripture songs, helping us input more of them, and telling others about the site.

I want to tell you about how God has used these songs or scripture memorization to change me.
We would be so encouraged to hear your story.  Tell us!
